Usage instructions

Twelve pages, each a complete, self-contained HTML page — a warm "Children's Illustrated" design system (Baloo 2 + Quicksand typography, sky-blue/sunshine-yellow/coral/leaf-green/cream palette, big rounded shapes) with every illustration hand-built from CSS and inline SVG (no external images of any kind). Pages: Story Cover, Character/Story Introduction, Story Scene — Into the Woods, Story Scene — The Mysterious Path, Full Visual Story Page, Dialogue/Narration Page, Emotional/Dramatic Scene, Story Development, Climax/Key Moment, Resolution, Author/Story Information, and Final Page/Back Cover. Before you publish: FONTS. Each page links Google Fonts (Baloo 2, Quicksand) for a real deployment. This platform's own preview blocks external stylesheets, so every rule also carries a solid system-font fallback — the layout never breaks, it just renders in system fonts inside this app's preview. ILLUSTRATIONS. Every sun, cloud, tree, mountain, wave, star, and character (Mila the explorer and Bramble the fox) is drawn from plain CSS shapes and inline <svg> — there are no photographs or third-party image links anywhere in this template. Treat the included artwork as a friendly placeholder scene: swap the SVG fragments, palette variables, or character details for your own art direction, or commission full illustrations to replace them, before commercial publishing. STORY TEXT. The included story is a complete, original, age-appropriate (4-8) short story about a young explorer named Mila. Replace the character name, setting names, and story beats with your own if you're licensing this template for a different book. AUTHOR PAGE. Page 11 ("About This Story") ships with clearly-labeled placeholder author information — replace [Author Name] and the bio text with the real author's details before publishing. NO NETWORK CALLS. This template makes no fetch/XHR/WebSocket calls and contains no forms — it is a pure read-along storybook.
