Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

• Account information. Name, email address, and (if you sign up with a password) a securely hashed password. If you sign in with Google or GitHub, we receive your name, email, and profile image from that provider.
• Marketplace activity. Purchases, Listings, reviews, customizations, wallet activity, and creator payout details (such as which payout rail you've connected — we store a reference to your PayPal or crypto payout account, never your PayPal login credentials or private wallet keys).
• Usage data. Pages visited, actions taken, device/browser information, and IP address, collected automatically to operate and secure the Platform and to understand product usage.
• Content you submit. Templates, AI generation prompts and outputs, support messages, and any other content you upload or create on the Platform.

2. What we do not collect or store

We do not collect or store your full payment card number, bank account number, or PayPal login credentials. When you pay or receive a payout, your payment details are transmitted directly to and processed by our payment providers — PayPal (for card/fiat payments and payouts) and BTCPay Server (for supported cryptocurrency payments) — under their own privacy policies and PCI-DSS compliance programs. AI Tapz's systems only ever see the resulting transaction status and reference ID, not your underlying financial account details.

3. How we use your information

• To create and manage your account and provide the marketplace, wallet, and AI editing features.
• To process purchases, calculate commissions, and route payouts to Creators.
• To detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, and violations of our Content Guidelines.
• To send account, transaction, and (if you opt in) product emails.
• To comply with legal obligations, including tax reporting and requests from payment processors.

4. Who we share information with

• Payment processors — PayPal and BTCPay Server, solely to process payments and payouts.
• Infrastructure providers — our hosting, database, file storage, job-queue, and email delivery providers, who process data on our behalf under contract and only as needed to run the Platform.
• Other users, where you choose to interact — e.g., a Creator whose Listing you purchase may see your order details necessary to fulfil or support that purchase.
• Legal and safety — where required to comply with law, enforce our Terms, or protect the rights, property, or safety of AI Tapz, our users, or the public.

We do not sell your personal information.

5. Data retention and security

We retain account and transaction data for as long as your account is active and as needed to comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest, and access is restricted to systems and personnel that need it to operate the Platform. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing.

• EEA/UK/Switzerland (GDPR). You may exercise the rights above, and where we rely on your consent, withdraw it at any time. Where we transfer personal data outside your region (e.g., to infrastructure located in the United States), we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
• US state privacy laws (e.g., CCPA/CPRA and similar). You may request access to or deletion of your personal information. As noted above, we do not sell personal information, so there is no sale to opt out of.

7. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies that are strictly necessary to keep you signed in and to operate checkout and security features, and, where enabled, analytics cookies to understand product usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of the Platform from working.

8. Children's privacy

The Platform is not directed to, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from, children under the age of 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy with a new "Last updated" date and, for material changes, provide additional notice.
